2.0.4 - Animal Crossing: New Horizons Datamine

New Year, New Items

A handful of items (ID 14578 - 14588) were added to the game in this patch; these are zodiac figurines to be received during the start of the year for the remaining animals of the zodiac (aside from those added for 2020/2021), with two figurines for the year of the boar (internally: FtrEtoBoar and FtrEtoPig).

Gyroid Fragments

Starting with 2.0.4, there is a 30% chance regardless of weather of a gyroid fragment appearing on your beach each day. This can only happen once you have successfully grown a gyroid fragment into a gyroid.

Villager Photos

Governed by the newly added cNpcMemory:BromideRewardSkipCount flag, once the villager remembers giving you their photo (once it is placed into their ReleaseItemList), you must talk to the villager on 10 different days before the game even rolls to check whether you will get their photo or not (the day you talked to the villager to get their photo is included in the 10 days).
